Anti-Plagiarism System

To prevent plagiarism, the Editorial Board of the journal uses the Similarity Check system, powered by iThenticatesoftware developed by Turnitin, a global provider of technological solutions for science and education. This system makes it possible to verify potential textual overlaps against billions of online sources as well as texts deposited by publishers participating in the Similarity Check service.

Plagiarism is regarded as a violation of moral authorship rights, consisting of the appropriation — in whole or in part — of another person’s work and its publication under one’s own name. The repeated copying and publishing of one’s own works for the purpose of artificially inflating scientific output is considered an act of self-plagiarism. Plagiarism is unlawful and may lead to legal consequences.

If plagiarism is detected, the Editorial Board will notify the institution with which the author is affiliated, the reviewers, and the persons whose rights have been infringed. In addition, the published text will be withdrawn, and an official notice of its retraction will be posted on the journal’s website and/or in its printed edition.
